How It Works:
B-Complex:
Specially formulated B-Complex vitamins (B6 &
B12) that support enzymes in the liver and stomach that
help to metabolize alcohol and its byproducts. The liver
becomes overloaded with the task of removing the toxins
from the ingested alcohol. The B-Complex vitamins can
eliminate some of the stress on the liver by aiding alcoholic
metabolism. B-vitamins are also important to the nervous
system and may eliminate the "shakes" caused
by alcohol consumption.
Taurine:
Taurine aids in the clearing
of free radical wastes from the body, plays an important
role in bile acid metabolism, promotes digestion, and
can be found naturally in meat and fish. In the adult
body Taurine can be made from Cysteine. Cysteine tests
have shown that Cysteine counteracts the poisonous effects
of acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is a nasty chemical toxin
that is responsible for most of the debilitating symptoms
of a hangover.
Siberian Ginseng:
Ginseng is a non-stimulant, herbal ingredient that has
been used for centuries to restore one's health. It assists
in cleaning the body of the harmful toxins alcohol produces.
Ginseng is also an adaptogen, which tries to repair imbalances
caused by alcohol consumption.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C):
Vitamin C is an important antioxidant, and has been shown
to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol in the liver, and
even helps to speed up it's metabolism of alcohol. Vitamin
C is also essential to rehydration, as it is a water-soluble
vitamin that can be lost in the blood stream.
Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen:
Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen are natural ingredients packed
with a wide range of vitamins and nutrients. They are
known as adaptogens due to their ability to locate and
repair imbalances existing in the body.
Guarana:
Guarana is a natural energy elixir that can serve as a
natural analgesic to help combat head and body aches.
Guarana also works as an anti-diarrheal and helps to further
detoxify the blood.
Sugar:
This is essential because alcohol breaks down
sugar supplies in the liver and body cells causing the
body to have low blood sugar levels. Low blood sugar contributes
to lethargy, lightheadedness, loss of short term memory
and an overall feeling of mental and physical weakness,
all due to alcohol consumption. |
